When do I need to upload my passport?

Some countries require customers to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) process before activating a new telecommunication service. eKYC is a paperless identity and address verification process completed online.

When can I use the same eSIM?

You can keep using the same eSIM when it still has top-up package options available, it remains installed on your device, and you are using it in the same supported country.

If you plan to reuse the same eSIM, do not delete it. Leave it installed and simply turn it off under Cellular Data Plans while it is not in use.

2. Go to Packages.
3. Choose the eSIM you want to top up.
4. Select the top-up amount.
5. The top-up will be ready for use once the previous bundle has been used.

If there is no Top Up button, or it does not work, the eSIM is either non-rechargeable or the network carrier has changed. In that case, please purchase a new eSIM.

If the top-up does not activate automatically, try restarting your phone, turning airplane mode on and off, or temporarily switching from LTE / 4G to 3G or WCDMA / GSM and then rebooting the device.

Can I remove an eSIM from my device?

When is it safe to remove eSIMs from my device?

It is safe to remove an eSIM when its data package is no longer active, it is no longer useful to you, or you are replacing it with a new eSIM for the same country or region.

Keep in mind that every new eSIM from the store usually requires a fresh installation.

Can I reinstall an eSIM?

Most eSIMs cannot be reinstalled after they are removed from the device. If you delete your eSIM, you may get an error when trying to install it again. Please contact us for more information.

Can I receive phone calls on my primary number?

It depends on your device. Some devices allow only one SIM or eSIM to be connected at a time. Also note that your main carrier may charge roaming fees for calls while abroad.

Can I make phone calls or send SMS?

Most TjwalNet eSIMs do not include a phone number or calling credit. You can check the Additional Information section on each package page to confirm what is included.
